This is one of four gardens which together form the botanic garden of Paris. The others are: the Parc de Bagatelle, l'Ecole Du Breuil et le Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil.
The Parc Floral de Paris has large collections of iris, camelias, rhodedendroms and other plants. The 'four seasons' garden has over 1200 perennials to discover, there are various different themed gardens and exhibitions throughout the year. Bonsai lovers will enjoy the large greenhouse containing a large collection of bonsai.
Some of the areas such as the walks through the woods with long winding beds full of colourful beds are really spectacular and will certainly charm garden-lovers. Another popular area is the "Valley of the flowers" where colourful flower beds surround a large pond. This area is also the site of a couple of music festivals during the year including the Paris Jazz festival and the Festival Classique au Vert. It is also the site of a large flower show each year.
The park covers 28 hectares in the Bois de Vincennes near to the Chateau de Vincennes in the 12th Arrondissement of Paris.
There are also picnic areas, restaurants and activities for children.
