Les Jardins d'eau de Carsac
If you like water lilies you will love this garden. Near the entrance there are some superb exotic water lilies and then there are a series of very large ponds full of water lilies. One of the ponds can be crossed via a long wooden walkway. As well as lots of water lilies there are masses of lotus plants. When I went in August they were mostly in seed but the few flowers and the amazing seed pods still looked great.
The lotus flowers generally start opening in June.
