Les Jardins de l'Imaginaire
Les Jardins de l'Imaginaire is a contemporary garden that has been planted up a hillside overlooking the lovely town of Terrasson. The gardens occupy different terraces up the hillside. There is a lovely modern watergarden, where on a hot day you can cool yourself down in the spray.
The gardens were created in the 1990s by the designer Kathryn Gustafson.
In the summer the blues of the nepetas and perovskia's reflect the blue slate rooves of the town and the contmporary rose garden includes 1600 roses plus 360 climbing roses. In the spring there is a stunning collection of iris' to be admired.

July, August: 9h50 to 11h50 and 12h50 and 13h50 to 18h10
October: 9h50 to 11h20 and 14h00 to 17h00 (closed Tuesday)
Tours begin every half hour.
The garden is situated in the town of Terrasson in the Dordogne. Between Perigueux and Brive la Gaillarde.
